Heat of RXN was founded in 2016 originally in Bellingham, Washington by two college dorm mates: Julio X and Houston Adams. In 2022, they completed Hypnotika, their first feature-length album. In 2023, Enthalpy was released, with songs like "Las Casas Silenciousas" (translated: "The Silent Houses") which was inspired by bands like Molchat Doma and Joy Division. As of 2026, Heat of RXN continues to evolve and performs music that draws inspiration from New Wave / Dark Wave / 90's techno / and Post-Punk. Their third studio album, Misericordia, is out now!
