Theodor is named after a 24-year-old cat that observed the genesis of the band’s first album. The recording sessions started deep in the pandemic and captured this peaceful solitude. The outcome was their self-titled LP. The idea to form a recording project was born on a road trip to Italy. Rob ( @Okta Logue )and Lui ( @LUI HILL ) were listening to tapes of contemporary soul music which became the subsequent inspiration for the project: a vision to record a moody and relaxed soundscape. The band was then rounded out by Max( @Fooks Nihil ) and Greg ( @Triorität )

“THEODOR” was released on the french record label Broc Recordz (2023).

After their well-received self-titled debut album, the band is back with a new LP. “HOLOCENE” will be released on the 29th of November on Broc Recordz.
