MANTLE COLLAPSE is a metal band from Tacoma, WA comprised of members Austin King (Drums/Vocals) & Jay Paul (Bass/Vocals). Mantle Collapse specializes in massive sounds from an unconventionally limited pairing: drums, bass, and vocals. The band was originally started as a 3-piece band, including guitarist Peter Wellman, but has since pivoted to a much different sound. The band frequently plays DIY shows under bridges, deep within basements, and even in abandoned churches. Founded in 2021, Mantle Collapse is motivated to bring their politically charged and deeply passionate message to all who dare to tune in.
