THE STRANGER, SEIU, and CHOP SUEY Present:
GO HEALTH YOURSELF
Seattle bands rock young invincibles into enrolling for healthcare!
The only problem with the new healthcare under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), is if people don’t signup, they’ll face the same roadblocks in trying to get medical help.
That means healthcare isn’t something to blow off, but is an affordable necessity to make sure people are covered. Having health insurance means if you break a leg, get really sick or fall flat on your face walking home from the bar, a doctor will see you and you don’t have to worry about big bills later on.
Find out more at Seattle’s first “Go Health Yourself” health enrollment kick-off event at Chop Suey. People can rock to Hey Marseilles and Emerald City Soul Club. King County Public Health and others will be there to provide information about how to enroll in health care and how much it’ll cost.
